Thyroid Nodule Symptoms
The thyroid nodule may be defined as a lump which is present in the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is a butterfly shaped gland present inside the body near the Adam’s apple. There are various causes like iodine deficiency, Hashimoto’s disease etc. which are responsible for the formation of these nodules. These nodules exist in the form of fluid filled cysts which sometimes also contain solid components. But, the presence of thyroid nodule is not felt and it is only when one goes for a regular check up that we come to know about the existence of these nodules.
